Import Model: Tiered Pricing

Introduction

Tiered pricing is used to allow customers assigned to a specified group to receive the indicated price when they are logged into your site and the Price Group is assigned to the product with a Tiered Price(s). If you have not yet created a Customer Group please do so first or you cannot import product updates and assign tiered pricing. Once your Price Group has been created you can use the import/export feature to assign your tiered pricing to multiple products at once.

Steps

  1. In WSM navigate to Data> CSV Profiles
  2. Select the CSV profile for Tiered Pricing Import or create a new one manually
  3. Update the profile and Assign the Price Group Names to the Source Value to the profile that you will be importing into the tiered Pricing Object fields
  4. Remember to add the Price Group Name for each of your tiered Price Groups you want to import into
  5. On your CSV worksheet, use the Price Group name column for entering in your tiered prices based on the group name
  6. Note: If you have added a Price column, this will only update the base product price and NOT the tiered price
  7. If you wish to also set quantities at this time, use a delimiter ">" like the example below:

EXAMPLE of CSV Spreadsheet Column Headers: When you enter these values in your spreadsheet you must format the Tiered Price columns like the image below or it will not import in. So under Tier 1 Price, 15.30 is that price, 1 is the quantity, and then you just always have the end be 0. You can change what is the delimiter.

  8. When you have entered in all the appropriate info (StockID, Tiered Pricing, Group Names, DealerID, etc...) you can click the import button and select your CSV for importing
  9. Make sure to click the FORCE button when running the import

Form Fields Defined

Default:The value which is automatically displayed if you have not designated a value on your import file.

Values: Indicates how you must enter the text for that particular field category.

Delimited: Indicates what you must use for your Multi-Value Delimiter when having multiple cells load into one profile field. If the MVD was a - your VALUES would read as the following: ${column header1}-${column header2}-${column header3}

Lastly:

The current import process will not allow you to remove an existing Tiered Price Assignment. You can only change the data elements.

If you have multiple Tiered Pricing assigned to a product you do not have to include all in one import. It will only import and update the groups specified in your import profile.
