This page explains the patterns present in URL structure and how you can navigate the WSM back-end to find a specific page.
Being able to quickly and efficiently navigate the back end of your WSM account is a valuable tool. By simply looking at the URL on the front end of a WSM account, you will be able to know where to go on the back end of WSM. For example:
WSM URLs include letter(s) that indicate the type of page and, they also include the WSMID for that specific item. For example in www.testsite.com/c-123456-title.html you can simply look at what comes immediately after the "/" to find out what type of page it is and where it will be located in the back end. Since a "c" came directly after, we know that it is a category page and can be found in that section in the back end. The WSMID in this example would be the "123456" and I would use this number to find exactly where I need to go and edit my item.
