Definition for each availability status:

How your company works will dictate the use of each status. Below are the definitions of each status and how WSM uses them.

The product is not in stock and can not be purchased.

The product is sold and can not be purchased.

Limited Supply

The product does not have a lot of available.

This status does not allow you to add an inventory quantity.

Inventory

The product has a certain amount available to purchase. If using "Inventory" we require the Inventory Amount field.

Once an item is purchased the system will automatically decrease the inventory amount.

Once the inventory number hits zero the system will automatically update the product to display, "Not Available" and the add to cart button will not be displayed.

Please Call

The customer will have to call into the company to get the price and any purchase information.

The add to cart button will not be displayed. "Please Call for Availability" and the companies phone number will be displayed. Please document any instructions of this product in the availability remarks.

The product is not for sale.

This status is a recycle bin for products. Once set to To be Deleted the product is set for deletion based on your configuration setting (System > Configuration > Catalog tab, "
